Dr. Eric D’Silva

Dr. Eric F. D’Silva is originally from a small town in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and is Board-certified. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology –  a distinction that only one-third of practicing periodontists achieve.

He received his undergraduate degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY and entered dental school at The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduating dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He returned to Buffalo, NY where he worked in private practice for three years and taught at the dental school as a faculty member in the Restorative Dentistry department.

Dr. D’Silva decided to further his education at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY where he completed his certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science degrees. He then moved to Charlotte after falling in love with the area.

He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Southern Academy of Periodontology and Charlotte Dental Society. Dr. D’Silva is active in many continuing education courses and study groups. 

Dr. Eric D’Silva and his wife, Dr. Jennifer D’Silva, enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, trying new restaurants and traveling.
